Clarifying plan concepts

general:

Nature of the jurisdiction area, in terms of:

1. Landscape
2. The border (limits) of the jurisdiction area.
3. Subject of the plan (talking about the plan, such as earthquakes, generally about the threat).

Intention

The importance of this plan , main and sub main goals.

Situation:

1. Actual risks facing the jurisdiction area should be discussed and to be based on field study. For example, if the plan was to face an earthquake the affected areas must be discussed in terms of population destiny, or economic importance, or if there were dams collapse danger if there were any.
2. should discus the assumptions and anticipated effects of hazards.

The mission

It clarifies required duty of the Directorate in the province by the directorate itself and sections and centers. .
 

Implementation:

1. Discuss operational matters in details, which may include details about the jurisdiction area, evacuation points and assembly points of mechanisms, specialized teams of the Directorate, the role of the Directorate and departments and centers for the implementation plan perfectly.
2. Duties of the other entities involved in the plan, such as support directorates or the concerned departments
3. Regulation: - Regulatory structural shows participating entities in the plan and relationships with each other and the role of each party in plan.
4. Coordinate: - details about the work of the entities involved with each other to avoid overlap and duplication of work and to avoid efforts loss. Details about the training program to activate the implementation of the plans perfectly.

Communications and control

Should discuss the operations and control rooms and how to sustain and maintain them.
There must be a communication system in the event of disasters and an alternative, and alternative plans to communicate. What are the calls used in the event of disasters.

Annexes and appendices:

It contains detailed information which has to do with the plan, such as strategic information in terms of the number of vehicles, salaries, health centers and hospitals. Detailed information about the risks in the region, the risks attached map, points of evacuation and shelter, points gathering mechanisms, teams specialized names and numbers telephones and faxes.

It is a vital and important element in the plan to give the plan a high level of credibility and to indicate the concerned part where the information was taken from.
