Architectural schemes s :

  • Fill out a request form to study schemes and set an appointment for the study.
  • Submit the schemes s for study and audit by an engineering office registered in the Engineers Syndicate.
  • Submitting a written statement  by the project owner to abide by the engineering schemes s stamped with the Civil Defense seal in the case of studying the schemes on paper.
  • The competent engineer (architect) is reviewed according to the provided schemes s.
  • The schemes s are studied in the architectural department in paper or electronic format.
  •  

Requirements for architectural engineering schemes s

  • All pages of architectural schemes s shall be at an appropriate scale of 1:100 or 1:200.
  • Provide a page showing all information about the facility, owner, location, address, number,  type of organization, etc.
  • A detailed area scheme showing the areas of each floor of the building and the final total.
  • The general site page, showing the levels of streets, squares, sidewalks, entrances and exits leading to and from the building
  • The architectural schemes of each floor of the building, indicating the nature of the occupancy for each floor, indicating the doors and exit paths, their dimensions, if any.
  • Detailed sections of the building
  • The facades of the building indicate exit doors and floor levels.
  • Tables of doors and windows with an indication of their specifications, the material they are made of, and the method of opening and closing them.
  • Indication of the quality of materials used in construction.
  • Determining the smoke areas, if any, and clarifying the type of walls and doors separating each of these areas.

Study of architectural schemes s:

  • Documenting all information about the facility, owner, location, address, …etc.
  • Submit all architectural engineering schemes s for study according to the fire protection code.
  • In the case of the presence of (gas tanks / fuel stations / fuel tanks), the transaction is studied by the Gas and Fuel Department to ensure that all requirements and conditions are met.
  • In the event of the presence of any chemicals in the building, it shall be reviewed and its danger determined by the chemical department.
  • In the event that the schemes s do not match the conditions, the recommendations are written on a special form and the recipient of the service is provided with a copy of it so that the recommendations contained therein can be implemented and studied again by us until all the conditions and requirements contained in the approved codes applied in the Civil Defense are met and approved.
  • After fulfilling all the conditions and requirements contained in the approved and applied codes in the Civil Defense and approving the schemes s in principle until they are approved by the rest of the departments (electricity / mechanics).
  • After being approved by all departments (architectural/electrical/mechanical) and conforming to the conditions and stamped with the Jordanian Engineers Association seal, the schemes s are stamped if the building is exempt from fees, otherwise the service recipient is directed to pay the fees in the accounting department and obtain approval of the schemes s.
  • Determining the areas of fire and smoke, if any, and clarifying the type of walls and doors separating each of these areas.
