East Amman Police Directorate

• On 1/6/2007, the East Amman Police Directorate was established.

The Directorate includes (7) security centers and (5) police points, which are:

• The Qweismeh Police station is followed to the Amman Customs Police station.
• Al-Nasr Police station has a police station in Al-Mahatta Complex.
• Sahab Police station, to which the Totenji Hospital police station is followed.
• Marca Police station.
• The Ashrafieh Police station is followed to the Al-Bashir Hospital police station.
• Uhud Police station is followed with the Al-Ghabawi police station.
• AlManarah Police station.

Among the duties of the east Amman Police Directorate are the implementation of all orders and instructions issued by the Regional Security Command, the provision of distinguished police services to service recipients, the development of police and security action plans from which executive plans for prevention and combating crime emerge, the periodic evaluation of the police and security action plans and the necessary amendments in their regard. Strengthening the system of knowledge, communication, creativity and innovation in individual and institutional work, optimal use of available human and material resources, guidance and supervision of all attached Public Security units, strengthening partnership and cooperation with security agencies and official institutions, and maintaining communication, cooperation and social responsibility roles with service recipients and the local community.
