Central Badia Police Directorate
In 1937, the Badia Al-Muwaqqar police station was established and administratively followed to the Giza Badia region.
On 15/1/1992, the Badia Al-Muwaqqar police station was changed into a region command, and on 8/1/2004, the organizational structure in the region was amended, so that it became the Badia Al-Muwaqqar police station, and on 5/16/2004, the Central Badia Command was established, on 10/11/ 2006, the department was renamed to Badia Al-Muwaqqar District, and it was formed on 1/12/2016 to become the Central Badia Police Directorate.
The Central Badia Police Directorate has a number of police stations and units, namely:
- The Giza Badia police station, which was established in 1932 and has the following check points (Umm Al-Rasas police station, which was established in 1967, and Manga police station, which was established in 1943).
- Badia Al-Azraq police station, which was established in 1931 and is followed to it (Badiya Husaydah police station, which was established in 1976).
- Badia Al-Muwaqqar police station was established in 1937
One of the duties of the Central Badia Police Directorate is to implement all orders and instructions issued by the regional security command, to provide distinguished police services to service recipients, to develop police and security action plans from which executive plans for prevention and combating crimes, and to periodically evaluate police and security action plans and make the necessary amendments in their regard. Strengthening the system of knowledge, communication, creativity and innovation in individual and institutional work, optimal use of available human and material resources, guidance and supervision of all attached Public Security units, strengthening partnership and cooperation with security agencies and official institutions, and maintaining communication, cooperation and social responsibility roles with service recipients and the local community.
