Public Security Directorate launched the (Safe Summer 2023) initiative, which aims to spread awareness and education, and provide a safe environment for citizens, during the summer season.

The initiative aims to enhance protection from negative behaviors that threaten the security and safety of society, especially in the summer, such as: forest and weed fires, firing bullets and wedding occasions, excessive vehicle speeds and accidents resulting from them, leaving children in vehicles in hot weather, and others, in addition to the environmental and tourism aspect. .

Public Security Directorate affirmed that it will work through The  media and community channels, and in cooperation with all media, to ensure the prevention from such risks, stressing the role of the citizen in the success of these efforts, by adhering to advice and instructions issued by the directorate.
