An official military source in the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces - the Arab Army stated that a joint special force from the Jordan Armed Forces - the Arab Army and the security agencies raided, at dawn on Tuesday, the dens of a number of drug dealers near the Eastern Military District, resulting in the arrest of 7 wanted persons in connection with smuggling gangs and drug dealers.

The military source indicated that this operation was the resultthe investigation with the group of 15 smugglers who were arrested during the specific operation carried out by the armed forces last Saturday, January 6, 2024.

The operation was carried out by the rapid response special unit of the armed forces in order to prevent smugglers from reaching residential areas.

The source confirmed that this operation is a new addition to the efforts made by the Jordan Armed Forces - the Arab Army and the security agencies, and that the Armed Forces will continue to use all available capabilities to strike those who try to threatens  with Jordan national security.
