A tourist of European nationality thanked Public Security Directorate for the quick response to her assistance, as she had lost her way in one of the areas of Petra - the archaeological site this afternoon.
Tourist police patrols made great efforts that lasted for several hours in the archaeological site and its surroundings, until they were able to communicate with the tourist and locate her in coordination with the Operations and Control Directorate of the Public Security Directorate.
The tourist, who was in good health, thanked the tourist police who arrived and offered her assistance.
