One of the inmates of the Hashemite Correction and Rehabilitation Center won fourth position in the local Hashemite competition for memorizing and reciting the Holy Qur’an, which was organized by the Ministry of Endowments, Islamic Affairs and Holy Places under the High Royal Patronage during the holy month of Ramadan this year.

The participation of inmates from the Department of Correction and Rehabilitation Centers in this competition reflects the Public Security Directorate’s constant endeavor through the Department of Correction and Rehabilitation Centers to provide inmates with the opportunity to participate in all competitions and religious, cultural and other activities, in addition to Holy Qur’an memorization courses as an integral part of the correction system to improve the behavior of inmates and rehabilitate them and to enable them to integrate into society after the end of their sentence.

The Ministry of Endowments, Islamic Affairs and Holy Places, in the presence of the Director of the Hashemite Correction and Rehabilitation Center, honored the inmate in recognition of his winning in the competition.
