PSD spokesman said that Anti-Narcotics Department, with the support of various public security units, carried out a security operation against wanted persons and drug dealers in the Ruwaished area, as the operation led to the arrest of four wanted persons in different locations, and one of them was arrested  with two packages of hashish and 2000 narcotic pills.

The spokesman also confirmed that drug dealers were also arrested in the Mafraq and the Capital governorates after dealing with three cases in which packages  of hashish and 1000 narcotic pills were seized, while a special investigation team was tracking two people, one of them of Arab nationality, while they were transporting a quantity of narcotic substances from Mafraq Governorate, as they were stopped and arrested with 7 packages of hashish and a quantity of narcotic crystal.

In the Capital Governorate, information was received about a person of an Arab nationality possessing narcotic substances. After confirming the information, the drug-dealer was raided, arrested and seized 1,000 narcotic pills and 4 packages of narcotic hashish.
