Three drug dealers were arrested in one of the cases, 42 packages of hashish and 3,000 narcotic pills were seized.
In addition, two armed drug-dealers of Arab nationality were arrested in the Ramtha, who had 14 weapons in their possession.
PSD spokesman said that Anti-Narcotics Department have dealt, during the past 24 hours, with a number of cases of drug trafficking and arms trafficking in the capital, Irbid, Ramtha and West Balqa.
In the first case in the Capital Governorate, three drug dealers were raided after collecting information about them and making sure that they possess large quantities of drugs. They were arrested after they resisted the security forces, 42 packages of hashish and 3,000 narcotic pills were seized.
In Ramtha, information was followed up regarding two persons of Arab nationality who traded in firearms. After verifying the information by all intelligence methods, they were raided and arrested, and 14 weapons, one of them automatic, were seized inside their houses.
In Irbid governorate, one of the apartments used by drug dealers to carry out their criminal activities was raided, and five dealers were arrested, one of whom was classified as dangerous, and by searching the location, quantities of narcotic substances prepared for sale were seized.
In the last case, in one of the western regions of Al-Balqa, a house was raided by a person who used it to grow narcotic marijuana. He was arrested after fierce resistance, and a group of green and dried marijuana seedlings were seized inside the house.
