31 drug-dealers and promoters were arrested, and large quantities of narcotics and firearms were seized.

PSD spokesman said that workers in the Anti-Narcotics Department continued their intensive operations to deal with all forms narcotic substances, as 20 qualitative cases were dealt with in all the governorates of the Kingdom, during which 31 drug dealers and promoters were arrested  and large quantities of narcotic substances were seized.

In Irbid governorate, five specific cases were dealt with. In the first case, two people were arrested in possession of 13,000 narcotic pills and 22 packages of hashish. In the second, a drug dealer was arrested in possession of 23 packages of hashish, 2,000 narcotic pills, and two firearms. In the third raid, 4,000 narcotic pills and two packages of hashish were seized. In the possession of two promoters in the fourth case, a shop used by promoters for their commercial activity was raided. Four promoters were arrested with 3,000 narcotic pills and half a kilo of narcotic crystal in their possession. In the last case in Irbid, a promoter was arrested in possession of 2,500 narcotic pills and pieces of hashish Prepared for sale.

In the Ramtha district, two cases were dealt with. In the first, a drug dealer was arrested in possession of 1.5 kg of crystal, while 2 kg of the same substance and 1,000 narcotic pills were seized in the possession of a drug dealer.

In Al-Mafraq Governorate, three cases were dealt with. In the first case, two people were arrested in possession of 7 packages of hashish and 2000 narcotic pills, while two people were arrested in one of the northern Badia regions in possession of 15 packages of hashish and 2000 narcotic pills. In the third case, a dealer’s house was raided. He was arrested with 20,000 narcotic pills and 13 packages of hashish in his possession.

In the east of the capital, two cases were dealt with. In the first case, two drug dealers were arrested after strong resistance and shots were fired at the force by a drug dealer, and 56 packages of hashish, 4,000 narcotic pills and a firearm were seized in his possession. In the second case, two drug dealers were raided and 39 packages of hashish and 4,000 narcotics and firearms were seized.

In Ma’an governorate, four dealers and promoters were arrested in two cases. In the first, a raid was made and three people were arrested with 4 packages of hashish and a firearm in their possession. A drug-dealer was also arrested in the second case with 2,000 narcotic pills and a firearm. In the Karak governorate, a tent used by a person was raided as the location was used to grow seedlings of narcotic marijuana, he was arrested and quantities of planted marijuana seedlings were seized, and two promoters were arrested in Tafila Governorate, with 5 packages of hashish in their possession.

Also, in one of the western regions of Al-Balqa, a house was raided and used by its owner to grow marijuana seedlings. He was arrested and large quantities of marijuana seedlings were seized inside the house.

In Madaba, a promoter was arrested after being raided with 8,000 narcotic pills, 56 grams of heroin, and 100 grams of crystal.

In the last two cases in Aqaba Governorate, a drug dealer was arrested in the first case, and he was in possession of 15 packages of hashish and 15,000 narcotic pills, while in the second case, 1 kg of narcotic crystal was seized after the drug dealer was arrested.
