Anti-narcotics Narcotics Department dealt with 11 specific cases involving drug dealers and promoters in various regions of the Kingdom, during which the department arrested 22 drug-dealers, including two who were classified as dangerous. 

criminal drug trafficking gang were dealt with in Irbid, arresting all its members, and arresting two people who manufactured the deadly crystal substance in another case.

The spokesman said that during the past few days, Anti-Narcotics Department dealt with 11 specific cases in various regions of the Kingdom, during which 22 drug dealers and smugglers were arrested.

The spokesman confirmed that the most prominent of these cases was in Irbid Governorate after an intelligence effort, a criminal gang for promoting narcotic substances in the governorate was dealt with, which practiced promoting drugs in the governorate. Six members of the gang were arrested, one of whom was classified as dangerous, after following up and monitoring their criminal activity, determining their locations, raiding them, and arresting them, they were in possession of quantities of narcotic substances intended for sale.

In Irbid Governorate, a raid was also carried out on an apartment used by two people to manufacture the narcotic and deadly substance crystal, after following up the information received about them, they were arrested and large quantities of chemicals used to manufacture this deadly substance were seized inside the apartment, in addition to approximately 3.5 kg of crystal.

In the Northern Desert, four cases were dealt with. In the first, two people were arrested in possession of 8 marijuana palm-sized sheets , 1,000 narcotic pills, and quantities of counterfeit currency that they attempted to market in commercial stores. In the second, a drug dealer was arrested after resisting and shooting against the security force, and 35 palm-sized sheets of hashish were seized in his possession and 1,000 narcotic pills, while in the third case, two drug dealers, one of whom was classified as dangerous, were arrested as they were raided , 7 palm-sized sheets  of Marijuana and 4,000 narcotic pills were found in their possession. In the last case, a drug dealer was arrested in possession of 7 palm-sized sheets  of hashish.

In the capital, two cases were dealt with. In the first, a drug dealer and importer and a forger of medical prescriptions and official documents were arrested after collecting information about him and raiding the apartment that he uses for his criminal activity, half kilogram of deadly crystal, 400 forged prescriptions, and a group of forged official papers were seized inside the apartment, In addition to equipment used for forgery, while in the second case, three drug-dealers were arrested for possession the narcotic and deadly substance crystal, and a quarter of a kilogram of that substance was found in their possession.

In Aqaba Governorate, a dealer was arrested in possession of 6,000 narcotic pills . In Ma'an Governorate, two drug dealers were arrested and 5,000 narcotic pills and 3 palm-sized sheets  of hashish were found in their possession. In one of the areas of Western Balqa, a person was arrested who used his house to grow narcotic marijuana seedlings he was arrested too. The house contained large quantities of these seedlings and an amount of dried marijuana.

The spokesman confirmed that all cases had been referred to the Public Prosecutor of the State Security Court.
