124,000  narcotic pills were seized in one case, 9 kg of crystal in another case, a wanted armed suspect was arrested in a third case.

PSD spokesman said that  the Anti-Narcotics Department continued the efforts and intensive operations to deal all forms of narcotic activities , as the department dealt during the past days with eight specific cases during which 10 drug dealers and smugglers were arrested.

The spokesman confirmed that the most prominent of these cases was at the Jaber border crossing, where 124,000 narcotic pills were seized, hidden inside a cargo vehicle in order to smuggle them out of the Kingdom, and the case is still being investigated.

In two separate cases, large quantities of the deadly crystal substance were seized. In the capital, one of the most dangerous drug dealers and smugglers in the center of the capital was raided, and 9 kg of narcotic  substance was seized in his possession, in addition to 50 grams of the narcotic cocaine and 1,000 narcotic pills, while he was arrested in Ramtha, another person was arrested in possession of 2 kg of the same narcotic substance.

In the Central Desert, two separate raids were carried out. In the first, two armed persons were raided, one of whom received five judicial restrictions. The suspects showed resistance to the force, and one of them opened fire against the force immediately after they raided him. However, the security force was able to control and arrest them, and they were in possession of the firearm used, 4 palm-sized sheets of hashish, and crystal narcotic substance, while at the second case, the force was attacked by a wanted person classified as dangerous, who had 9 judicial restrictions against him, and he was arrested.

In Mafraq Governorate, a drug dealer was raided after collecting information about him, and he was arrested and 27 palm-sized sheets of hashish, 10,000 narcotic pills, and two firearms were found in his possession, while in Azraq, a drug dealer was arrested and 6 palm-sized sheets of hashish and 2,000 narcotic pills were found in his possession.

In one of the areas to west of Irbid, one of the most dangerous wanted persons was raided, the suspect  had 15 judicial restrictions  in drug and attempted murder cases. He was arrested and 6 palm-sized sheets marijuana, a quantity of narcotic pills and two firearms were found in his possession.
