AND arrested 208 suspects  in 121 cases of drug trafficking.

Receiving 14 cases in the drug addiction treatment center of the Anti-Narcotics Department  Implementation of 65 awareness activities in different regions of the Kingdom.

During these cases, 23 kg of narcotic hashish, 1 million pills of Captagon, 1,000 pills of medical substances, 1,750 grams of narcotic crystal, 150 grams of cocaine, a group of marijuana seedlings and a group of firearms were seized.

PSD spokesman said that Anti-Narcotics Department continues the qualitative operations to deal with all forms of narcotic activities  under the directives of the security commanders.

The spokesman confirmed that during this week, from 24/11/2022 to 30/11/2022, 121 cases of trafficking and promotion of narcotic substances were dealt with, during which 208 suspects, including those classified as dangerous, were arrested, and they were all referred to a prosecutor General at  State Security Court.

During these cases, 23 kg of narcotic hashish, 1 million pills of Captagon, 1,000 pills of medical substances , 1,750 grams of narcotic crystal, 150 grams of cocaine, a group of marijuana saplings and a group of firearms were seized.

On the therapeutic level, the number of admissions to the drug addiction treatment center this week reached 14 cases varied between admissions and referrals.

In the same context, AND carried out 65 awareness-raising activities this week, which included a number of lectures, workshops and seminars, in partnership with the relevant authorities and partners.

The spokesman stressed that anti-narcotics operations and security crackdowns are continuing in all regions of the Kingdom firmly to deal with narcotic substances, including abuse, promotion and trafficking, and harnesses all capabilities for that.
