Anti-Narcotics department arrested 267 suspects in 154 cases of drug trafficking and promotion.

Receiving 50 cases in the addiction treatment center for Public Security Directorate.

During those cases, 15 kg of hashish, 17,000 Captagon pills, 22,000 narcotic pills, 500 grams of crystal, 31 kilograms of marijuana, 100 grams of cocaine and a set of weapons were seized.

PSD spokesman said that AND continues  the operations to pursue all forms of dealing with narcotic substances.

PSD spokesman  confirmed that during this week from November 3, 2022 up to  November 9, 2022, 154 cases of trafficking and promotion of narcotic substances were dealt with, during which 267 suspects were arrested, all of them were referred to the State Security Court Prosecutor. .

On the therapeutic level, the number of admissions to the drug addiction treatment center this week reached to 50 cases.

In the same context, AND, through the awareness dimension , carried out 57 awareness activities this week, which included a number of lectures, workshops and seminars, in partnership with relevant authorities and partners.
