The Anti-Cybercrime Unit of the Public Security Directorate warned of fake E-links arriving on citizens’ phones through several applications containing electronic links included request for registering support to the poor and register the victims personal data through the links.
The unit confirmed that these electronic links are fraudulent, aiming either to hack phones or personal data.
The unit called on everyone not to access such links, to delete them from phones, and not to share them to avoid falling victim to any type of fraud or electronic theft.
