The Anti-Cybercrime Unit warned of fake electronic links that reach citizens’ phones through several applications that contain electronic links to mislead victims that they are to register support for the poor and push them to register their personal data. The latest links claim to provide support for 140 dinars to poor families.

The unit confirmed that these electronic links are fraudulent, aiming either to hack phones or steal personal data.

The unit called on everyone not to enter  such links and delete them from their phones.
