• In those cases, a group of drug dealers and traffickers were arrested and large quantities of narcotic drugs were seized in their possession, and all of them were referred to the judiciary.

PSD spokesman stated that Anti-Narcotics Department dealt during the past few days with several specific cases of trafficking and promotion of narcotic substances inside the Kingdom, during the intensive crackdowns carried out by the Department as part of its efforts to confront all activities related to trafficking and promotion of narcotic substances.

In the first case, after collecting information about a person trafficking and promoting narcotic substances in the northern Badia, he was raided and arrested, and 35 packages  of hashish and 12,000 Captagon pills were seized in his possession, in addition to a firearm.

In the second case, one of the dealers and promoters of narcotic substances was arrested in one of the areas to the south of  Amman, in which  24 Packages   of narcotic hashish seized  and  4,000 narcotic pills.

In the north of the capital, the third case was dealt with after following up information received about a person’s possession of a quantity of narcotics and several judicial requests against him. 6 bags of marijuana, cannabis, 1,300 Captagon pills, and a quantity of crystal narcotic were seized.

To  east of the capital, a number of suspects  were arrested, and 32 packages  of hashish, a quantity of narcotic pills and a firearm were seized.

In the fifth case in Zarqa Governorate, information received about a person’s possession of a quantity of narcotic substances was followed up, and he was raided and arrested after he resisted the  police force, and three firearms were seized in his possession, in addition to 9 packages  of narcotic hashish, 600 Captagon pills and two weapons.
