100,000 narcotic pills were seized in one of the cases while three drug-dealers were arrested while transferring narcotics to the southern governorates

PSD spokesman said that Anti-Narcotics Department continued the intensive operations to deal with all  forms of narcotic dealing. During the past few days, six specific cases were dealt with in various regions of the Kingdom, during which 12 drug dealers were arrested and large quantities of narcotic substances were seized.

In the first case, the investigation team followed up information about three people suspected of drug cases preparing a large amount of narcotic substances to transfer them to the southern governorates in order to sell them. Two vehicles were used for that purpose, and the three suspects  were arrested, 100,000 narcotic pills were seized in one of the vehicles.

In the Capital, three cases were dealt with. In the first case, four narcotic promoters were arrested in possession of 7 packages of hashish and 1,000 narcotic pills. In the second, a promoter was arrested in possession of 10 packages of hashish and 1,000 narcotic pills. In the third case, two promoters were raided, arrested, and seized with 8 packages of  Hashish and an amount of narcotic pills.

In Mafraq, a drug dealer was arrested in which  7 packages of hashish and 1,000 narcotic pills were seized. In the recent case, in West Balqa, narcotic marijuana seedlings were seized, and a person planted them inside his house was arrested.

All those involved will be referred to the Public Prosecutor of the State Security Court.
