PSD spokesman stated that during the past few days, staff-members of the Anti-Narcotics Department have dealt with four specific cases, during which a group of drug dealers and promoters were arrested and large quantities of narcotics were seized too, all cases were referred to the judiciary.

 In the first case, information was received about a person planting the narcotic marijuana in two separate sites at the West Balqa area, The two sites were raided and quantities of marijuana seedlings were seized, in addition to 13 cartons containing bags prepared for sale and a firearm.

 In the east area of the capital, a drug dealer was arrested after confirming that he had stored them inside his house, and he was arrested with 24 packages  of narcotic hashish, 2500 narcotic pills, 650 tablets for medical preparations, and 40 grams of cocaine.

 In the third case, a drug dealer was tracked inside his vehicle in the south of the capital, after information was received about his possession of a large amount of narcotic substances with the intention of selling and promoting. The suspected  was raided and arrested in which 1 kg of narcotic hashish , 400 Captagon narcotic pills and a quantity of crystal narcotics were seized in the location.

In the fourth case, they raided the house of a drug dealer in Mafraq Governorate, he was arrested and 10,000 narcotic pills were hidden in the yard of the house. The media spokesman stressed that Public Security Directorate, through the Anti-narcotics Narcotics Department, is continuing its crackdowns against all drug dealers and promoter added the PSD spokesman
