A security force arrested a person this evening who set fire to a family care center in the Al-Thaniyah area in Karak, which was shown in a video that was later published on social media.

In the details, PSD spokesman confirmed that one of the police patrols, while on their duty, observed a fire burning in the center’s building, and upon arriving at the location, the patrol team noticed a person leaving the building in possession of a sharp tool and tried to flee, so he was pursued and arrested. He was carrying a sharp tool in his hand in addition to  a number of bullets, Criminal records and narcotic drugs were found in his possession.

The spokesman added that the fire caused material damage to parts of the center and was dealt with directly by civil defense personnel without causing any human casualties, and investigations were initiated.
