In Zarqa Governorate, an Investigation team followed up information received about a person preparing quantities of narcotic pills for smuggling to a neighboring country, connected to a drug smuggling network. The team was able through investigations to determine the method of smuggling through cigarette cruises and in cooperation with two other persons. They were immediately raided and arrested. (50) thousand narcotic pills were seized.

Also, the AND investigation team followed up information about unknown persons hiding large quantities of drugs in the Syrian-Jordanian joint free zone. The team moved to the place and found (3) kg of crystal methamphetamine, (15) thousand pills of Captagon narcotic pills. And (300) grams of cocaine. After an intelligence effort, the trader who owned the drugs was identified. He was arrested with another suspect who is involved with international gangs to smuggle drugs.
