PSD spokesman said that an eight-year-old girl was taken to the hospital in Jerash this evening, after being wounded by a bullet in the head area while she was inside her family's house. The child is still being treated in poor health.

spokesman confirmed that immediately after receiving the communication, an investigative team dispatched the place and started collecting information and listing the events and celebrations in the vicinity of the girl's house so that they could, within hours, identify the shooter from one of the high school celebrations, where the suspect was arrested.

The spokesman emphasized that Public Security Directorate followed up all reports and information, and the hand of justice will reach all those who transgress the security of society and the safety of innocent people.
