CID investigation teams and the Jerash Police Directorate were able to complete the investigation in the death of a juvenile who was injured by a stray bullet a few days ago, arrest the perpetrator and seize the weapon used.

In the details, PSD spokesman  said that on October 20, 2022, a report was received to the Jerash Police Directorate about the ambulance of a 12-year-old juvenile to the hospital after he was shot  by a stray bullet while he was near his house, and soon he died.

the spokesman added that immediately upon receiving the report, an investigation team was formed included  the criminal investigation and Jerash police. They investigated the case from the moment of receiving the report and worked to collect information from the area in which the juvenile was injured.

The investigation team continued its work, and investigated all the information collected, and investigated with everyone who was suspected or received information, stressing that these efforts reached to identify the main suspect and seize the weapon used. The laboratory tests at the Laboratories Department confirmed that it was the same weapon used in the incident, and it was referred to the competent judiciary.
