Hours of continuous work to control the flames.

Standard procedures and dozens of vehicles and teams brought the fire under control without causing casualties

PSD spokesman stated that the specialized firefighting teams in the East Amman Civil Defense Directorate, with support from the Central Amman, West Amman and Madaba Civil Defense Directorates, the police, the Gendarmerie Forces, and the Amman Municipality, dealt with a fire this evening that broke out inside a plastic factory consisting of three floors inside the industrial city of Sahab area.

The spokesman added that civil defense made great and strenuous efforts in extinguishing the fire, dozens of operational civil defense vehicles, a large number of firefighters, police, gendarmerie forces, and a number of water tankers belonging to the Greater Amman Municipality participated in the fire extinguishing operations.

The operations to deal with the fire took several continuous hours due to the nature of the burning materials. The fire resulted in three people suffering from shortness of breath as a result of the smoke as they were taken to the hospital to receive the necessary treatment, and an investigation was opened to find out the cause of the fire.
