the rescue operations took several hours to save the person’s life

Despite the height of the silo, which reaches twenty meters, and more than two thousand tons of fodder inside it, the rescue operations prevented being exposed to danger.

PSD spokesman said that the specialized civil defense crews working in Zarqa Governorate reported that a person had fallen inside a fodder silo in the Al-Dulayl area in Zarqa Governorate while he was carrying out maintenance work.

The spokesman confirmed that the great efforts made by the specialized teams preserved the life of the injured person, especially since the silo reaches a height of twenty meters and contains more than two thousand tons of feed.

The  rescue operations continued for several continuous hours and specialized equipment was used for such types of incidents.

In turn, the ambulance crews provided the necessary first aid to the injured person and transferred him to Zarqa Governmental Hospital, and described his health condition as moderate.
