PSD spokesman said that the firefighting teams in the Ajloun and Jerash Civil Defense Directorates extinguished a fire of dry grass and forest trees in the Ajloun forests.

The spokesman added that the fire did not result in any casualties, while the area of ​​the fire reached (100) m2, and an investigation was opened to determine the causes of the fire.

Public Security Directorate renewed its warning today of the necessity of following the instructions issued to protect forests and fruit trees.

PSD called for avoiding negative practices that cause fires such as throwing cigarette butts, neglecting to deal with sources of ignition, and not completely extinguishing fires in forest areas.
