Two Royal Air Force helicopter joined the operations of the fire extinguishing.

Great efforts were made by specialized teams in rugged terrain, and a large number of human forces, vehicles and equipment used in the operations.

Effective support by the police and gendarmerie and great coordination with the Ministry of Agriculture and the Greater Ajloun Municipality.

Civil Defense cadres were able, after continuous work for long hours, to control a fire that covered large areas of dry grass and trees in the Safsafa area in Ajloun Governorate.

PSD spokesman stated that Ajloun Civil Defense teams, supported by the Northern Civil Defense Directorates, responded to the fire that broke out in 3 different areas within the borders of the Safsafa area.

The spokesman added that the teams made great and strenuous efforts due to the rugged terrain and in conjunction with the high temperatures, and prevented it from spreading to neighboring areas, without any casualties.

The efforts were supported by two Royal Jordan Air Force, cadres from the Ajloun Police Directorate and the Gendarmerie Forces, in continuous coordination with the Ajloun Agriculture Directorate and the Greater Ajloun Municipality.

The spokesman indicated that a large number of various operational vehicles, including firefighting vehicles, firefighting platforms, loaders, supply tanks, fire towers, and agricultural tractors belonging to the Civil Defense, the Ajloun Agriculture Directorate, and the Greater Ajloun Municipality, joined the firefighting operations.
