Coordination with the Ministry of Health to attend doctors inside ambulances for field treatment without the need for transportation to hospitals.

Public Security Directorate supported border centers and pilgrims' bus with advanced ambulance points to reduce response time for any emergency that any of the pilgrims are exposed to.

Brigadier General Dr. Mohammad Al-Omari, Director of Civil Defense, added in his statement to the Public Security Radio that after coordination with partners, especially the Ministry of Health, doctors were present inside ambulances to provide medical services without the need for transportation to hospitals.

 

Al-Omari noted that the Al-Omari and Al-Mudawara border centers dealt with 65 medical cases of pilgrims (severe fatigue - high diabetes and blood pressure), as these cases were dealt with in the field in ambulances equipped with all the medical equipment and supplies necessary for doctors to do their work.

Civil defense director added that the Civil Defense cadres were on high readiness around the clock during Eid Al-Adha, especially after the Kingdom witnessed a rise in temperatures and many regions of the Kingdom were exposed to dry grass fires, which sometimes reached agricultural crops, forest and fruit trees.

Such incidents, through the combined efforts of all concerned parties were dealt with to preserve agricultural wealth.

the Civil Defense dealt with (6960) different emergency cases through all centers in the Kingdom and advanced ambulance and firefighting points responded to (630) rescue incidents and the control of (1278) firefighting incidents, including (941) grass fires.

Brigadier Al-Omari appreciated the continuous efforts of the Mass Media Directorate in spreading the preventive culture to reach the highest levels of public safety.
