Public Security Directorate concluded today at the Women's correction and Rehabilitation Center the activities of the vocational training program to develop inmates' products, which was implemented by the Correction and Rehabilitation Centers department in cooperation with the Jordanian Education for Employment Foundation and the European Union, in the presence of the Assistant Director of Public Security for the Judiciary, Brigadier General Dr. Ali Al-Zoubi.

The organizing of this program came as an extension of the comprehensive Correction and humanitarian approach implemented by the Public Security Directorate through the Correction and Rehabilitation Centers department, and within the framework of effective partnership with various governmental and private institutions concerned with enhancing the capabilities of inmates of Correction and rehabilitation centers of both males and females and qualifying them to enter the labor market in the required manner after the end of their sentence.

The program activities, in which (40) male and female inmates from the Muwaqqar 1 and Women's Correction and Rehabilitation Centers participated, and lasted for fifty days, included a series of vocational and training workshops related to entrepreneurship, project marketing, and the resin craft.

At the end of the ceremony, which was attended by the Director of Correction and Rehabilitation Centers Department, representatives of the Jordanian Education for Employment Foundation, the European Union, and a number of partners, certificates were handed over to the program participants. It is noteworthy that the Department of Correction and Rehabilitation Centers continuously seeks to hold training courses that enrich the distinguished experience of male and female inmates in various professional, craft, and marketing fields.
