Today, Public Security Directorate launched the first Ramadan meetings at Iftar tables for inmates and their families, which are organized by the Department of Correction and Rehabilitation Centers in all its centers, throughout the holy month of Ramadan.

Today's first iftar banquet brought together the inmates of the Marka Correctional and Rehabilitation Center with their relatives and family members, in a Ramadan atmosphere that expressed the humanitarian approach that the correctional centers pay special attention to in their rehabilitation programs for inmates.

This initiative comes as an extension of the Public Security Directorate’s comprehensive reform strategy, enhancing the role of correction and rehabilitation centers, by enabling their inmates to exercise their roles as active members of society, in a positive manner, and helping them return to a normal life in their communities after the end of their sentences.
