PSD spokesman said that Criminal Investigation Department followed up information for weeks about a person in Jerash governorate possessing a quantity of counterfeit currency and that he is communicating with a person to offer him these dollars in order to sell them .

The spokesman added that a special investigation team followed up the case in which the suspected person was observed with the people he deals with in order to determine the location of his hiding for the counterfeit currency  and seize them before they start trading in the market.

The investigators were able to reach information confirming the agreement with the other and the place of delivery was also determined in the capital, Amman, as the place was raided at the specified time and the suspected person was arrested,  200,000 fake dollars were seized.
