The motive for the first crime was theft and a previous dispute, and theft was the motive for the second, according to the preliminary investigation

PSD spokesman said that a security force from the Criminal Investigation Department was able to arrest the perpetrator of two murders against an Arab in the Shmeisani area and the wounding of an Arab in the Marka area.

In the details of the two cases, the spokesman confirmed that a report was received the day before yesterday about the loss of contact with a seventy-year-old man of Arab nationality, his place of residence in the Shmeisani area was dispatched, and his body was found inside his apartment. He had been shot to the head area, and his vehicle, phone, and personal belongings had been stolen.

In the evening of the next day, another Arab person was shot by an unknown person while he was in front of his house in the Marka area, and he was taken to the hospital in poor condition.

The spokesman confirmed that the investigation team formed in the first case was able, through investigations, indicators and evidence, to link the two cases to one perpetrator. His identity was identified and it was found that there was a previous dispute and issues between him and the person injured in the second case , search operations were launched for the suspect.

This evening, after searching, investigating, and tracking the suspect, his location was confirmed, he was raided and arrested, and the weapon used in the two cases was seized too.

Upon interrogation, he confessed to committing the two crimes and that he committed the first crime with the motive of theft. The next day, he went to the Marka area and waited for the other person in front of his house and shot him as a result of previous disputes between them. He also stole the personal belongings of the suspect.

The stolen vehicle and some other possessions that he stole were seized, and the case will be referred to the Public Prosecutor of the Criminal Court.
