PSD spokesman stated that information was received for employees of the Criminal Investigation Department about the possession of large amounts of counterfeit currency by a group of people and their intention to promote it in the markets and among citizens.
The spokesman confirmed that a special investigation team followed up on this information, as the team was able to ascertain it and where it was hidden and raided, and three people were arrested and more than a million counterfeit dollars were found, and investigations were launched in preparation for referring them to the judiciary.
