Director of Public Security Maj. Gen.Hussein Al-Hawatmeh met today in his office the Canadian Ambassador to Jordan Donica Pottie.

The two sides discussed ways of enhancing the joint cooperation in all fields that serve the police and security work system between the two friendly countries.

Major General Al-Hawatmeh stressed, during the meeting, the importance of exchanging experiences between the two friendly countries, in the field of capacity building, development, and improving services provided to citizens, praising the level of cooperation between Public Security Directorate and the Canadian Embassy, ​​which contributes to enhancing security in society.

For her part, Canadian Ambassador Donica Pottie praised the good reputation and prestige reached by Public Security Directorate, by providing a modern security umbrella in the nature and level of police and humanitarian services that the Directorate provides to citizens and guests of Jordan, stressing her country's keenness on continuing cooperation and exchange of experiences and expertise between the two security services in Jordan.
