Today, Director of Public Security, Major General Dr. AbeidAllah Maaitah, conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Abdullah II, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and His Majesty’s pride in the efforts of Public Security personnel made to defend the nation’s security and serve its citizens.
Major General Al- Maaitah praised the achievements made in the field of reducing crime and arresting its perpetrators, and the continuing efforts of all public security units and formations, in service to citizens in all aspects of life, indicating to the necessity of preserving what has been achieved and continuing development.
This came during the security meeting that Al-Maaitah chaired in the directorate HQ, during which he instructed to begin implementing the appropriate security and traffic plans, and the necessary humanitarian services in the holy month.
Major General Al- Maaitah directed to enhance the safe environment during the holy month of Ramadan, in accordance with the specificity of the holy month in values, meanings and practice of worship, as well as the change in behavioral patterns, habits and the movement of public and private transport.
The Director of Public Security indicated to the importance of studying the security and traffic situation and implementing the procedures accurately, with coordination with the Directorate of Operations and Control, and the sub-operations rooms, in cooperation with the command of the regions and police directorates and with the support of the Gendarmerie Forces.
The Director of Public Security indicated to the high readiness of the Civil Defense Directorate in all locations, and the continuation of its cadres to perform their usual role in maintaining the flow of humanitarian services to citizens, and the speed of response efficiently and effectively.
Major General Al- Maaitah stressed the necessity of working in cooperation and coordination with all institutions and concerned parties, in a way that ensures the provision of the best services to citizens, adding the importance of community partnership with citizens to maintain the security of society, maximize the values of solidarity and cooperation, and extend a helping hand and assistance to those in need.
Major General Al- Maaitah thanked the Public Security personnel who carry out their duties honestly and sincerely in various circumstances, in addition to the great humanitarian and community roles that have become part of their work.
