Public Security Directorate won a new Arab award in the field of awareness, by winning the first level for the best educational awareness publication, and third level for the best awareness film in the field of civil defense in the competition organized by The Arab Interior Ministers Council (AIMC)

The announcement of the results of the competition came on the sidelines of the nineteenth Arab Conference for Heads of Civil Protection Services (Civil Defense), which was held in Morocco.

The Secretary-General of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers handed over prizes to the winners of the competition, which is held every two years at the level of civil protection and civil defense agencies in Arab countries, and this year it came under the title Civil Defense (Civil Defense) in Dealing with Climate Change.

Public Security Directorate participated in the competition by awareness media materials in which the Mass Media and Community Policing directorate participated, and the prizes were received by a representative of Jordan Public Security, Colonel Ahmed Al-Naimat, from the Directorate of Civil Defense - Jordan Public Security.

It is worth noting that Public Security Directorate won, for the second year, awareness awards at the level of the Arab world, as last year (2022) PSD received the award for the best awareness film in the field of traffic awareness, and it had also participated in the awareness competition in the field of civil defense in the previous season of the competition, achieving first level in the Best Awareness Film of the Year Competition (2021).
