 The operation officer of highway patrols operations confirmed that there is no closure on any of the roads until now, adding that in the event of lack of visibility, they will be temporarily closed as a precaution.

The operation officer added, in his speech to Public Security Radio, that the Kingdom’s southern and eastern roads are exposed to dust from time to time in some areas, according to the Meteorological Department indicating to the need to take utmost caution while driving on the roads in the event of rain and the risk of slipping.

He concluded his speech to the Public Security Radio (AMEN FM ) by calling on all road users in the Kingdom to strictly adhere to the instructions and directives of the traffic department officers deployed on all roads in order to preserve public safety and not to exceed the check points specified by them unless it is permitted to do so.
