Jordan is fourth in the Arab world on the list of green countries and in the 62nd place internationally for the year 2023

Jordan ranked high on the Global Peace Index in 2023, ranking fourth in the Arab world and 62nd globally out of 163 countries included in the report.

Jordan ranked fourth among the countries of the Middle East and North Africa, behind Qatar, Kuwait and Oman.

The Global Peace Index report is based on three criteria: the level of societal security and safety, the extent of the ongoing local and international conflict, and the degree of militarization.

Jordan strengthened its position in a number of security indicators, the most important of which is the prevalence of crime in society, as well as the index of security and police personnel, in which it received a very high evaluation at the level of countries in the world, outperforming a large number of developed countries.
