Major General Al- Maaitah praises the high level of coordination between public security formations and national institutions

** Al- Maaitah conveys the greetings of the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces to personnel of Public Security in various units and formations

The Director of Public Security, Major General Dr. AbeidAllah Maaitah, chaired a security meeting, in the presence of his assistants and senior officers, during which he was briefed on the most important plans to deal with emergency situations and possible weather conditions during the winter season.

Major General Al- Maaitah conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and His Majesty’s appreciation to the efforts made by Public Security personnel in all fields.

The Director of Public Security praised the efficiency of coordination between the various units and formations in the directorate, as well as the continuous coordination with various national partner institutions in providing security and humanitarian services to various citizens.

Major General Al- Maaitah stressed the importance of continuing development and modernization in the Civil Defense Directorate, ensuring the provision of the best services and strengthening civil protection, especially the good and speedy response to meet the needs of citizens and residents in various circumstances and times.

The Director of Public Security was briefed by the Director of Civil Defense, in which he outlined the stages of  development and modernization plan that is being implemented to enhance operational, human and technical capabilities, and to provide specialized civil defense teams and crews with qualified cadres and modern vehicles  .

The Director of Public Security stressed the need to continue reviewing and evaluating plans, according to changes, and to continue working to improve the efficiency of data transmission and notification systems, and information flow systems between paramedics and workers in the field with medical authorities and operating rooms, and to train and qualify their members and provide them with modern technology.

Al-Maaitah directed  to the continuation of work, efforts and coordination between units and formations, and constant readiness to deal with any emergency, especially with the onset of the winter season and the weather instability indicating to  the necessity of benefiting from previous experiences to apply the best practices with high professionalism and professionalism. .

In the security context, the Director of Public Security stressed the continuation of security operations to prevent and confront crime, and regular and emergency security duties to support the work of national institutions and preserve the interests of the state, in ongoing and continuous coordination with various official bodies, led by the Jordanian Armed Forces, the Arab Army and the security services.

Major General Al-Maaitah indicated to the importance of the security and traffic efforts made in the field to enforce laws and spread reassurance in society, and the awareness path that the Directorate’s keenness to provide prevention and protection, and to consolidate the community partnership between the police man and the citizen.
