The Director of Public Security, Major General Dr. AbeidAllah Maaitah, stressed the importance of the security and humanitarian roles carried out by the rescue police around the clock in the various governorates of the Kingdom with high professionalism, which is consistent with the comprehensive strategy of the Public Security Directorate, which aims to establish security and provide protection and safety for citizens and residents in the Kingdom.

During The inspection visit today to the rescue  Police Directorate, Major General Al-Maaitah highlighted the importance of the security roles the directorate plays as a first responder to emergency, combating crime, and reducing its occurrence in its various forms, in addition to protecting public and private property, in partnership with the police directorates in the regional security commands indicating to the traffic duty that it carries out to support traffic police in enforcing the traffic law.

Major General Al- Maaitah praised the security efforts made by the Rescue Police with all professionalism to enhance the ideal and bright picture of the Public Security Directorate and the keenness to keep the security and safety of society, and to always remain a source of pride and trust of His Majesty, The Supreme Commander of Jordan Armed Forces, King Abdullah II, all Jordanians.

The Director of Public Security directed to continue providing all forms of logistical support, including modern technical vehicles and equipment, that would contribute to enabling the personnel of the rescue police to carry out various duties to the fullest.

Major General Al- Maaitah was briefed  by the Director of the Najda Police, during which he highlighted the most important plans and efforts made, work statistics, and aspects of implementing field security duties aimed at saving lives and property and achieving community safety.
