PSD has once again stressed the need to follow preventive measures to prevent drowning incidents.
The Directorate warned of the danger of negligence, inattention and disregard for instructions, which resulted in a number of unfortunate incidents.
Avoid swimming in places not designated for practicing this sport, such as dams and agricultural ponds.
Do not rush emotionally into randomly rescuing a drowning person without being familiar with the rules of water rescue.
Keep an eye on children during trips and walks near water bodies.
Adhere to the instructions and warning signs that prohibit swimming in areas with water bodies.
Do not approach dangerous water bodies such as agricultural ponds.
