The Directorate of Public Security, represented by the Department of Correction and Rehabilitation Centers, organized an exhibition of handicrafts made by inmates of correction and rehabilitation centers, “Made with Determination,” in the halls of the Arbella Mall in Irbid Governorate.
The organizing of this exhibition was a continuation of the activities and events implemented by the Department of Correction and Rehabilitation Centers within its reform approach aimed at empowering inmates and enabling them to invest their sentence periods in a way that will benefit them and their families, and enhance their ability to produce.
Through organizing the exhibition, the Department of Correction and Rehabilitation Centers seeks to maintain community partnerships with various government and private sectors to demonstrate the inmates’ abilities to work, produce, and engage in society as active individuals after their sentence.
The exhibition, which lasts for three days, includes ceramic products, pottery, metal and wooden furniture, and antiques, in addition to embroideries, accessories, and copper hammering crafts.
