Today PSD and the Vocational Training Corporation signed a memorandum of understanding with the aim of cooperation and exchanging training experiences in the field of communications and information technology, in the presence of the Acting Director of Public Security, Brig. Dr. Mutasim Abu Shttal , and the Acting Director General of the Vocational Training Corporation Omar Qteishat.

Brig. Abu Shttal said that Public Security Directorate pursues strategic plans aimed at paying attention to the youth to be an active element in society, as they are the mainstay of the present, and the strength of the future.

Brig. Abu Shttal stressed that the Directorate is working to maintain communication and build bridges of joint cooperation with young people who carry the multiple energies and creativity, as we work to employ their energies through human and logistical resources and implement the pioneering projects available, to advance them.

For his part, the Acting Director General of the Vocational Training Corporation, Omar Quteishat, praised the efforts made by the Public Security Directorate in order to develop the leadership and pioneering aspects of the youth of society

 Via , contributing to their training, refining their skills and providing them with the necessary knowledge and experience, indicating the institution’s desire to Maintaining the good relationship rooted for years with the Public Security Directorate in a way that ensures benefit from the expertise available to the Directorate in the field of network sciences and information technology.

The memorandum included the design and development of training programmes, in addition to holding lectures and workshops in training institutes in the areas of cyber security, cybercrime, drugs, terrorism, community peace and traffic awareness.
