PSD warned of water pooling and a rise in its level in a number of areas that may witness heavy rainfall, calling for people to stay away from low areas and valleys, and not to risk crossing water pooling areas by vehicles or on foot.

Public Security Directorate also stressed the need to be careful when driving and follow traffic rules, in light of the low horizontal visibility due to fog or dusty winds, especially in the desert areas.

PSD called for the necessity of safe use of heaters, and ventilation of homes from time to time to avoid incidents resulting from them, such as suffocation due to lack of oxygen or gas emissions, or causing fires, stressing not to hesitate to call the unified emergency number 911.
