16 people who participated in the riots were arrested
PSD spokesman said that an officer was injured during a security operation to close illegal wells in Irbid governorate, during which a number of people rioted with the aim of obstructing the force's work.
The spokesman confirmed that the riots have been dealt with and 16 people who participated in them have been arrested and will be referred to the judiciary, while the security operation was followed up with representatives from the Ministry of Water and Irrigation until all the violating wells are all closed.
