Firing shots at weddings  lost the lives of others and the cause of the death of the juvenile.

The used firearm has been seized, and the forensic laboratory confirms the match between the weapon and the bullet that killed the juvenile.

The shooter will be referred to the judiciary for murder, and strict legal and administrative measures will be taken against the party organizers who allowed their party to become a source of threat to society.

Strict instructions not to close any report of gunfire except when the perpetrator and the weapon used are arrested and seized,  individuals in civilian clothes are deployed to monitor the wedding events.

    PSD spokesman said that the special investigation team was formed to follow up the investigations in the death of a juvenile by a  bullet a few days ago while he was in the Nazzal neighborhood,  investigations was completed  after identifing the shooter, arrest him and seize the weapon used.

   In the details, PSD spokesman confirmed that a report was received a few days ago that a 17-year-old was injured by a bullet in the head while he was in the Nazzal neighborhood, where he was treated at the time to the hospital, and soon he died of that injury.

   The  spokesman added that, a special investigation team was formed from the criminal investigation, the Central Amman Police Directorate and the criminal laboratory to follow up the investigation into the case until the identity of the shooter was identified and arrested.

He indicated that the results of laboratory tests matches the weapon used that injured the juvenile.

  PSD spokesman stressed that Public Security Directorate will not allow such reckless shooters to practice this deadly societal behavior, as it issued strict instructions not to close any report regarding cases of shooting without reaching the shooter and to take the most severe measures against them whom will be referred to the judiciary and administrative governors to allow their occasions to be turned into a source of threat to society and its members.

Public Security Directorate calls on everyone to rebuff  this deadly societal behavior , and not to allow to use the  occasions to cause the killing of innocents, and to directly report anyone who does it through the unified emergency number (911).
