PSD spokesman said that Criminal Investigation Department was able, within a record time, to complete the investigation and identify the perpetrator of the robbery crime under threat that occurred this afternoon at an change cash  shop in Irbid, arrest him and return a large part of the stolen amount.

In the details, the spokesman said that a report was received to the Irbid Police Directorate this afternoon that an unknown person entered an cash change shop in the city of Irbid, jumped behind the staff counter with a sharp tool in his hand, stole an amount of money (11 thousand dinars) and fled from the place.

The spokesman added that immediately after receiving the communication and collecting information from the crime scene, the person's description was circulated, so that, his identity and whereabouts could be determined.

The suspect’s whereabouts was raided, he was arrested, and part of the stolen money was found in his possession. he confessed to having committed the crime, and he will be referred to the Public Prosecutor of the State Security Court.
