Al-Maaitah chaired a security meeting, and directs to enhance security and humanitarian services during Christmas periods, high school examinations, and weather conditions.
Today, the Director of Public Security, Major General AbeidAllah Maaitah, conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and His Majesty's pride in the efforts of Public Security personnel to maintain the security of the homeland.
Al-Maaitah praised the size of the efforts made, and the professionalism that distinguished the duties carried out by Public Security, expressing his thanks to all units, which worked with high professionalism and integrity to enforce the law and maintain the security of the homeland and citizens.
Public security director said: “our martyrs will remain in our consciences as a motive to do more for the sake of the homeland under the wise Hashemite leadership, as we are performing our duties to our homeland with sincere intentions but rather increasing solidity and strength.
He added, "The security personnel are the sons of the homeland who will not be discouraged by challenges or sacrifices, and they will continue their work and perform their duties, and stand in the face of anyone who tries to threaten the security of the homeland."
Al-maaitah directed during the security meeting, which he chaired in the presence of senior commanders and directors, to start implementing security and traffic plans aimed at enhancing security and facilitating the movement of citizens in front of churches during Christmas period, with the highest standards of effectiveness and operational and administrative efficiency.
Major General Al-Maaitah indicated to the need to continue providing security and humanitarian services in all fields, and to take the necessary measures, in coordination with the Ministry of Education, to maintain the safety and security of the high schools examinations.
The Director of Public Security was briefed by the Assistant for Operations and Training who presented the security plans developed to deal with the various duties, and the mechanisms for implementing them in the various formations of the Public Security Directorate and its operational and administrative units.
