Public Security Director Maj. Gen. Hussein AlHawatmeh passed orders  to expand the search operations  for a  lost vehicle , and to strengthen the efforts made to search for the vehicle with a person inside it that was swept away by torrents in Ma'an Governorate.

Maj. Gen. Al-Hawatmeh passed orders to use  all possible capabilities to intensify  the search operations without interruption until the vehicle found.

The specialized teams in the Civil Defense, with the support of the Ma'an Police and the Gendarmerie Forces, continued to search for the vehicle and those inside it amid reinforcements pushed by the Public Security Directorate at dawn today.

PSD spokesman said that a report was received to the operations room of the Ma'an Civil Defense Directorate stating that a vehicle with a person inside was missing as a result of being swept away by torrential rainwater in the Uhaidah area.

PSD spokesman  added that the specialized civil defense teams, with the support of the Ma'an police and gendarmerie forces, are continuing their search operations in various areas along the course of the torrent, and the search operations have been ongoing since yesterday
